What is Accucheck?

Accucheck is an Occupational Health (OH) service, usually providing services on the request of your place of work.  Occupational health and safety’s fundamental goal is to ensure that staff members are safe, healthy, and productive while at work.

How do I get a copy of Accucheck’s certifications?

To request a copy of our policies or certifications, email support@accucheck.uk.

Where is your clinic?

Our pop-up clinics are nationwide, we also have a large locally based team that are available to come to your place of work.

Why have I been chosen to be tested?

This could be done for a number of reasons, such as determining a person’s medical fitness for work, conducting a drug and alcohol test, or determining a person’s readiness to get back to work following a sick leave. With regards to the referral, you should speak with your line manager if you have any questions.

How do I make a complaint?

Please contact our team with your concerns, and we will conduct an immediate investigation. You will be kept informed of our findings.

How do I book?

You can request a booking online or by email at worksafe@accucheck.uk.

We recommend contacting us through our booking form or by sending a WhatsApp, and one of the team members will be back in touch within the same working hours.

 

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

Please inform your employer as soon as possible if you cannot attend. You are able to reschedule another appointment.

 

Do you book same day appointments?

We can usually see you within 2 hours – we know your assessment is really important. However this is dependant on staffing. Most of our appointments are booked ahead of time.

 

What details do you require of me at the appointment?

We will need id such as a driving licence, passport or work id. If you our part of network rail we will also require your sentinel number. 

How long will my appointment take?

Each appointment should take approximately 10 minutes; however, if you cannot pass urine or have a positive point-of-care test (POCT), we will offer a lab-based test to confirm the initial result.
