Types of Workplace Testing

    When an employee is transferred, promoted, or seconded, tests are carried out.

  • Unannounced/randomUnannounced random testing is conducted on a minimum amount of the workforce.

  • For cause
    In cases where a manager or supervisor suspects an employee’s drug or alcohol use makes them unfit for work, they can request a drug or alcohol test that will be conducted within 2 hours

  • Post-incident
    After an incident that caused or could have caused harm, tests are carried out.
